Home News Membership How to Join Members Officers Constitution Events Courses DGCNV Forum Resources	Tuesday Night League For 2008 Tuesday League format will consist of two series, Spring and Fall and will include 4 events at the new Giles Run course. Spring Singles (April 1 –June 17) Fall Singles (July 15 – October 7) Play will rotate among the six courses in Fairfax County. There will be a three week period between the series during which format of play will be determined by participants. Singles Format Professional Division: 100% payout determined by number of participants. There will be no distinction made for non-members. Payout determined by the table found here Recreational Division: Free entry. One winner to receive a club disc. Rec players will be grouped with pros. Rec players will be allowed to receive the disc prize maximum of 3 times and will be encourage to play in the Pro division, thereafter. Singles Series Champion Scores will be maintained for each player for each event and be available on DGCNV website. Pro players will receive points based on the number of other players beaten for each event and a cumulative total will be kept for each player. At the end of the Singles Series, the player with the most accumulated points will be awarded the Ragnar Overby Trophy to be held until the end of the next Singles Series. With the addition of Giles Run, eight singles events will be used to determine winner. All participants with tags will redistribute based on weekly results. Optional Ace Pot will be offered with 100% payout. Club Promotion Club announcements can be made before each weekly event. Memberships packages will be available at League events. Summer Doubles and beyond Summer doubles will be best-disc, random draw. Format for Fall singles may be altered at the discretion of the Club.
