The Disc Golf Club

The Disc Golf Club of Northern Virginia (DCGNV) is a non-profit players’ organization established in 1998. It is open to all no matter skill level. Our goal is to organize and promote disc golf (link explains the sport) within the Northern Virginia area and to help maintain local courses--working with the Fairfax County Park Authority, the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority, and the Arlington County Park Authority. We are leaders and advocates of the sport and welcome an ever-growing player base.

The DGCNV organizes several events with competition based on skill level (beginners, advanced, and professional players). League play is often the first exposure to competitive play for beginners where they learn the rules, etiquette, different techniques, and the mental concentration involved in disc golf.

In short, we are a friendly fun loving family of disc golf enthusiasts dedicated to letting everybody enjoy the sport.
